Loretta

Loretta is one of the sweetest, kindest souls you will ever meet! This doll came to us over two years ago, completely unstarted. Since then, with our careful training, she has progressed unbelievably! Loretta is one of the most beautiful and easiest to start horses we have ever owned. She has never offered to buck, and handles time off exceptionally well. We have used her extensively on the ranch, and in the mountains. I was wrangling horses and leading a pack string on only her 6th ride! She is very eager to please and has always been willing to do anything asked of her. This mare knows tough, rocky mountain trails, but could really excel at anything. She has the potential to go in any direction. Loretta has also packed everything from elk meat to eggs! This gal is safe, sane, sound, surefooted, and has no bad habits. Will go up, down, or around anything you point her at seamlessly, with no spook or hesitation. Neck reins, yields to leg pressure, picks up both leads, and will travel at any speed you ask. Easy to catch, good to shoe, clip, bathe, and is hobble and picket broke. Good to saddle and bridle, and stands quietly to mount from either side. Not mareish acting, and gets along great with everyone. Rides perfectly alone or in a group safely. Loretta is a confident, forward moving horse that enjoys getting out and exploring new trails! She handles new situations quietly and inquisitively, with a very level head.
