Ariel Hug is a professional in the equine industry with roughly $30k in National Reining Horse Association earnings, an NRHA Rookie Professional world title, and an NRHA Reserve Limited Open World Championship title. Aside from her accomplishments in the reining show pen, Ariel also enjoys coaching youth riders, training young horses, competing in the ranch riding, expanding her training in the cattle events, and developing the occasional English horse. Ariel began her career in the horse industry on the east coast where she quickly became hooked on performance horses. After working as an assistant trainer in northern Colorado, she went out on her own where she has successfully developed her business of Hug Performance Horses. Currently, Ariel is the Regional President of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association, founder and head coach of the Mile High IEA Team, and head Western coach of the Colorado State University Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Team.
