David and Carlie Raucher

David and Carlie Raucher are a father daughter duo that spend their days enjoying good horses in the hills of Boulder, Montana.

As a second generation professional horseman, David grew up on the East Coast, spending his days developing quality horses and proudly offering them to recreational riders and professionals alike. He has done just about everything you can do horseback, English and Western, and made his own horses to do so: from competing over fences, to playing polo or showing ranch horse versatility, but his passion is helping match the right horse to the right family. David takes pride in owning horses that are well broke and attractive, but above all have a good mind. Beyond this, David has taught multitudes of students. Whether they wanted to learn to work cattle, jump a course of fences, or go to a show every weekend, he has worked with beginners and has also taken students to compete at the national level. Having such a broad knowledge of the industry and vast experience with people has made David proficient at knowing how to help horses find their rider.

Carlie is a senior at Montana State University studying Equine Science. Prior to moving to Montana, Carlie was raised by good horses and wild ponies. Being a third generation horsewoman, she was exposed to all aspects of the horse industry at a young age. She grew up enjoying ranch horse versatility shows, cutting cattle, riding her project ponies, and jumping. Carlie always had a herd of ponies around that David would give her as a project. Her love for improving on horses that she got from her father blossomed at a young age. Throughout high school, Carlie balanced academics, extra curricular activities, project horses, and personal horses that she showed throughout the summer. She became passionate about showing, and made it to national finals shows in Kentucky and Florida to compete over fences.

Today, she still maintains those passions. About to graduate from college, Carlie maintained an academic scholarship and her love for horses through her 4 years of school.

Carlie also works for Art of the Cowgirl and has been able to learn from incredible women that have blazed their own trail in the Western industry.

On the weekends, David and Carlie enjoy traveling throughout the west to offer select horses for sale, participating in the local horse community, and just enjoying good horses in a beautiful place.
