Alvin Detweiler and Joe Loveridge teamed up several years ago to create ABarJ Horses and a way that would expose horses to all situations from the arena, performance to the mountain and ranch work. Alvin and his family ride and train horses for a living out of Jamesport, Missouri. Alvin has a program that is one of the best at making all around quiet, family, versatile, performance horses. Alvin is a top-notch horseman, he makes a nice rope horse and one that will pay attention to a cow and ride like one should. They will all ride around in style and will be broke. His kids are like sponges, soaking up and learning from their Dad and have become amazing trainers of their own in their young age. Teaming up with Joe we've been able to add to the exposure and experience horses get. We swap horses back and forth from Missouri to Utah to give the horses a chance to see new country, ride the Rocky Mountains and desert chasing cows, outfitting and getting exposed to different ranching opportunities and the horses will be ridden by different riders. They learn how to ride, move and a whole lot more with Alvin's family. We try our best to represent our horses as honest as we can and stand behind any horse we offer for sale.
