ST Lit Up Cortez

Cortez is a gentle, stout and colorful horse who can get the job done. He has an eye catching color and build that will get noticed wherever you take him. Whether it is working cattle, trail riding or roping calves, Cortez can do it. He goes where you point him and crosses mud, water, snow, rocks, and ditches without hesitation. He has great cow sense and will move to and with the cattle. He has a ground covering walk, smooth slow trot and a nice gentle lope. He takes you where you want to go in comfort and has the wind to go all day. He has four solid black feet and wears a size 1 shoe. Sound as he can be. He is gentle on the ground and easy to catch, saddle, bridle and mount. He has no funny business about him. He loads, ties, bathes, hobbles, stands for the farrier and has no bite or kick. He is very well trained and will back out of a sticky situation and side passes right up to a gate. He can even spin a pretty nice circle. He climbs and descends steep rocky hills like a mountain goat and is not afraid of anything out on the range. He is not spooky or watchy and has a good mind. He will ride out on his own and away from other horses. We are so pleased to be able to share this good looking, gentle all-around great gelding.
