DESCRIPTION | Orphan Billy Bear
"Orphan" is a gentle, attractive gelding that got his start at an Amish Colony. At the colony he was ridden almost daily and used for various things including helping neighboring ranchers gather and work cattle. A lot of this riding was done on forest service leases in the Black Hills. I have ridden "Orphan" numerous miles in rough BLM country. I have started roping the burro and logging him in the arena and have carried flags off of him. Orphan has a good neck rein, stop and back up on him as well as side passing and working gates. Orphan tolerates unexpected wildlife without incident and will also handle sorting flags, whips, slickers and plastic tarps. Orphan is healthy, current on dental work, worming and will be shod and ready for immediate use and enjoyment. An excellent horse for ranch work, trail riding, or to finish as a rope or barrel horse in the arena.BLEMISHES | Orphan Billy Bear
There is a small scar about the size of a penny on the outside of his right front ankle where he nicked it on something as a colt. There are no soundness issues with this horse.PEDIGREE | Orphan Billy Bear
