Drake

Drake is a 6-year-old stunning black gelding with plenty of chrome. Drake has the lope we all dream of!
He is extremely light and soft in the mouth and responsive to his rider’s cues. His sensitivity to his rider
provides an effortless one-handed ride. He will stop on a dime and turn quick and tight! He is a delight
to ride bridleless in all 3 gaits in and out of the arena. He side-passes and lopes nice collected round
circles of any size. Drake is also started on the barrel pattern and cruises with some good speed.
Additionally, he’s been introduced and shown potential to hazing. An arena isn’t the only place Drake
excels. He very much enjoys the trails! He rides out quietly alone or with a group through all the
obstacles trails present. Drake has been hauled extensively and will happily stand at a trailer all day.
Alternatively, he will ground tie and cross tie. He stands patiently while mounted as well as for the
farrier. This sensitive and kind boy will make someone an excellent all-around partner. Whatever your plan for the day, he is the one you will want to take to be your ride. He’s all business but loving and will do anything you ask. For more

Drake has an old scar on the right side of his neck. It causes no problems and you wouldn't even know it is there other than the hair grows a tad differently there.
