DESCRIPTION | Cinch
Cinch is a 2019 black and white paint draft cross. He stands at 15.2 hands and 1250 lbs with a size 3 foot. Cinch is easy to catch and rides like a dream. You don’t find very many draft crosses that ride as light in the face and feet as he is. Cinch is a ton of fun to rope off of and holds the rope like he knows it’s his job. He is great through rough footing and pays attention to his surroundings. He sorts cattle like a little horse and will flat get catty to sort off of. He’s been ridden in the feedlot, doctored lots of yearlings, traveled rough country on the forest. He’s not a hot head, and walks off like a gentleman when you get on. He is lively and fun. As it goes with the draft crosses that manage to be catty, he can be watchy. Mostly when he’s tied up, and can be more-so when fresh, so I’d recommend an intermediate to experienced rider for that reason. He fits in well in any herd and rides so well off of your seat, but also doesn’t get worked up if you need to pick up on him and guide him. This is a fun horse who has a business-like attitude and likes to have a job. He’s friendly but not in your face. This horse really knows his job and likes to do it, whether you’re in a bridle or just hopped on him with a halter. He stops hard and turns around like a little horse. He’s the right size too!
