"Chex" is a super gentle, intelligent young horse. He has had a great start as a 2 year old and now has another year and a half worth of ranch work and training to his name. He knows all about general ranch work, has done a fair share of gathering, sorting, roping, branding, etc. He has been used to start colts, flagging, ponying, and such. Chex has spent lots of time outside, riding trails, highways and simply right through thick under brush. Not much bothers him, grouse fly up under nose, rope wrapped around his legs. He is good with bridges, tarps, bull whips, teeter-totter, and pool noodles, etc... We have shot off of him, and rode through water. He loads without hesitation and stands tied. He is easy to bridle, saddle, and bathe. He performs well in the arena as well, knows his leads, has a big stop and turns quick and tight. He lopes nice collected circles and side passes, and rides through gates with ease. Chex also rides bridle-less, and lays down on cue. He is very lovable and wants to please.
