Sancho is a big boned 10-year-old AQHA registered Quarter Horse gelding with a ton of presence. His 1,420 pound strong body is paired with the biggest, kindest eye you have ever seen. He’s as eye catching as they come and a trail riding machine. He really shines while carrying his rider over, under, and through various terrains. Sancho has ridden extensive miles of east coast trails and Wyoming backcountry. He has packed gear and guides in and out of hunting camp. He is happy carrying experienced or inexperienced passengers and adores kids. Sancho is a sweetheart who will stand patiently tied or ground tied for all the grooming and primping his person desires. Alternately, he will happily step up to the most challenging of trails. Although his forte is out on rugged terrain, Sancho is also quite athletic and willing in the arena. He is quick off leg and rein pressure. Sancho has been used to rope off and has worked cattle in the return alley and has even been used to rope donkeys. If you have a hard day of ranch work, he’s your guy. He is accepting of a bull whip, dogs, ropes, tarps, etc. With a back and hip as wide as a draft, this boy is always the first to meet you in a pasture ready to see what you have in store. He is the perfect mount to carry any size load and is versatile to tackle any job at hand. Sancho eagerly hops in any trailer, is kind in the pasture in the herd, and is genuinely a pleasure to be around.
