VIDEO | Smalls
Smalls is a flashy dun Percheron Quarter Horse cross gelding. He is a stand out: people stare and say "wow" when you ride by. He has good bone and feet. With a smooth, easy gait, he has been a pleasure to ride in the Rockies and on municipal trails as well as working both ranch and feedlot. Smalls has a good handle, rides on a loose rein, and responds to leg cues. He has a desirable slow trot and lope and will also sustain a ground covering long trot. Smalls sidepasses, yields his hind quarters, and has overall good body control. He is a steady, multi-talented mount with a lot of experience. He has roped and treated many yearling steers and gathered big country. He will work a cow. He walks quietly through cattle... quiet enough that most roping is just walk up and catch. He will drag almost anything. Smalls has worked in all kinds of weather, day or night. He rides out alone. He crosses water, opens gates, and works flags, whips, and ropes. He is traffic safe and has been around many bicycles, strollers, joggers, semis, dogs, wildlife, and a few llamas. Smalls stands quietly tied or to be mounted. He is easy to catch, shoe, and load. Smalls likes his blanket, he likes being brushed, and he likes you. He is ready for whatever task you have in store for him.
