VIDEO | Coal
Coal is a 2009 grade gelding that stands 16.1hh and weighs a solid 1400lb we don't know that he is draft cross but if he isn't he's the biggest quarter horse we've ever been around. We have known Coal since he was 3 yrs old and he has been ridden by all ages and levels of riders in all kinds of conditions and terrain. He is a solid mountain and trail horse that knows where to put his feet and handles rough country with ease. He will meet you in the pasture and is easy to catch, saddle, bridle, shoe and doctor. He is coal black and very easy on the eyes. Coal has very comfortable gaits, takes both leads, neck reins and a personality that is willing to do the work or just hang out with his people if that's the job. He has been used all over the ranch, from gathering the forest lease, to hunting and calving, he has been started on ranch roping and is proving to be very level headed through all the steps. He has the making of an excellent English/dressage mount and will be taken to local shows for exposure he has already been shown in Working Equitation and his looks and movement draw attention wherever he goes. This is hardly an inclusive list of the talents and life experience of this sweetheart of a horse so for more information call 307-578-7386 and check out his video and check back for updated videos!
